Our Services

We at Nashville Center for Canine Behavior believe that it is not just about obedience but also about the mental balance of the dog. If a dog is mentally balanced it will be calmer with better behavior. Without that mental balance, a dog exhibits ill manners with behavioral issues. We can help by teaching you what your dog is thinking and how to have a calming effect on your dog while working on commands that are essential for everyday life with your dog.

Training

Training is an essential part of raising and living with your canine. Our goal is to give your canine structure, manners and a consistent response to commands. This is all done with calm and patient training. Each canine is unique, therefore we address specific behaviors that your canine displays. We not only work with your canine but with you as well – teaching you to bring the best out of your dog!

Board and Train

It is essential to train with dogs in a home environment and that's why your dog stays with us in our home. We are highly experienced with all breeds and sizes. We understand each dog and household is different so we create a custom program for your dog and family. By having your dog live with us we can address any issues you are experiencing in your own home. This can range from manners, such as counter surfing and jumping on people or furniture, to separation anxiety, obedience, and balance.

Service/Therapy Dogs

We understand that a service dog is an instrumental part of your life. With our personal connection and passion for service dogs, we know the positive impact these special dogs can have in gaining independence and support. We train service dogs for medical, psychological, and mental disabilities as well as emotional support dogs. Each dog needs to perform specific tasks designated by their human. In order to achieve this, we work closely with you and your specific needs.
